Mitchell Family Charm Necklace Raffle

If you've known me for more than a week, you've probably heard me talk about my high school agriculture teacher, Charmi.

She has been so much more than just a teacher to me. Over the years she's been my mentor, boss, business partner, friend, and one of my biggest inspirations and supporters. Whenever someone asks me who I want to be when I grow up, my answer is always her.

A huge part of why I'm becoming a teacher is because I was lucky enough to have one like Charmi. I hope that one day I can be for my students what she has always been for me.

I love her like family, and I love the beautiful family she's built with her husband, Tyler.

A few weeks ago, Tyler was involved in a tragic accident. By the grace of God, he survived and was able to walk away, but not without significant injuries. He suffered multiple broken bones, including fractures to his spine and ankle, along with many other injuries, and has already undergone multiple surgeries. They have a long road to recovery ahead of them.

For someone who has given so much to me and so many others, I wanted to find a way to give something back.

I will be raffling off this handmade charm necklace, and every dollar raised (minus my cost of materials) will go directly to Charmi and her family to help support them during Tyler's recovery.
